After Osborn reveals that he knows Peter is Spider-Man, he tells him that he will keep his secret. This still haunts Peter even when he gets home. Nico offers to take Peter to the movies, but he tells her that he is having dinner with Osborn. In an empty restaurant, Peter tries to tell Osborn that he is not Spider-Man, but he sees through his lie. He reveals that after saving his son Harry, he began to piece together the possible candidates for Spider-Man, and ultimately came up with Amadeus, Jeanne, Asha, and Peter himself. He offers him his services, but Peter politely declines. Osborn leaves the door open just in case and gives a check.
